Following Jesus, Loving One Another, Reaching the World

A SMALL CHURCH WITH A BIG HEART DEDICATED TO

UPDATE:
Our meeting location

Looking to join us for Sunday morning worship? We are currently meeting for our 10:40AM service at Reese Volunteer Firehall (1745 Baltimore Blvd, Westminster, MD 21157).

The building is gone, but we are still here.

On August 1, 2024, our church building, which stood since 1968, was demolished by fire. We are so thankful for the emergency personnel and volunteers who fought the fire.

We are also very thankful our church family is safe and unharmed. Though this is a shock to us, our God is not surprised. We find our peace in His perfect plan and rejoice in the hope we have in Christ. These physical things disintegrate, but His mercy never fails - great is His faithfulness.

For those who are interested in supporting our recovery process, below is a link to donate. We are truly thankful for the kind words, prayers, and care shown by the community. We will keep you updated on our progress, and we deeply appreciate your support.

This Week's Focus

1 Corinthians 6:20

For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Due to the loss of our building, we do not record and post current sermons.

WELCOME

We are so glad you are here! We invite you to participate in our services and events, and encourage you to join us as we strive to follow Jesus, love one another, and reach the world to the glory of God.

Our vision is to present each person of the congregation spiritually mature in Christ, resulting in a life of love and making other disciples of Christ. We would love to meet you and

have you join us in this journey.

MINISTRIES

1 Peter 4:10
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

God has called us to a life of service and love for our neighbors. Learn more about our ministries within the church and around our community.

MISSIONS

We support missionaries both locally and around the world. The primary goal of missions at Clearfield is the encouragement of the worldwide proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Read more for a list of the missionaries we support and how you can get involved.

PRAYER

Prayer is a vital part of our walk and relationship with God. As a church we keep a list of requests and send timely updates throughout the week. Please feel free to reach out and let us know how we can lift you up in prayer.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK

Each week we like to highlight one of our missionaries so you can get to know them better and stay up to date on their latest news.

Daniel & Sarah Ruley

Daniel and Sarah have been serving in Northeast Brazil with their three boys since July 2015. They plant churches and develop leaders in this least-evangelized region of Brazil. Their church plant in Cajazeiras, Paraíba, began in July 2018, and God has blessed the church with four committed families and numerous opportunities to work with children, youth, and college students.

Please join us in praying:

Pray for their church plant to continue to grow in their understanding and commitment to Christ.
The Ruley family is going on furlough in December. Pray that the leadership transition for their church plant goes smoothly and the church continues to be strengthened in there absence.
They lost some financial support over this past year due to churches closing. Pray that they are able to obtain the support they need as they speak to new churches while on furlough.
